Justice in Good & Evil.

''If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed, but if any does evil, the doers of evil are punishable (to the extent) of their deeds'' [28:84]
The justice as ordained in Holy Quran is of much higher order than what is ordinarily delivered. The conclusion is fair and square, standards of divine justice cannot be matched, whatever the level of raising the standards of justice in the material world. Good deed, it is said is worth its weight in gold. Put in easier terms, it means, it is difficult to amply reward a good deed. The reward has to be of a much higher order. And, the reward could be, what may not be humanely possible to provide. The due retribution relates to what is recorded for divinity to account for, here and hereafter. The divine allowance for good deed is unbounded.
.
The evil deed may be forgiven by repentance, as to forgive is divine. Yet again, the divine parameters of delivering justice cannot be met by man made laws, while dealing with evil. However in delivering justice in an evil deed, the sight should be set on refraining from a verdict, where punishment could exceed the extent of the evil deed. The Holy verse is clear; any verdict in excess of the evil committed could be transgression of divine norms.
.
In individual or societal interaction, adjudication of deeds good and evil may ultimately be left to divinity. However if adjudication falls in the human realm, as it quite often does, divine standards though unattainable for humans, as err is to human, may however be kept in focus, in order to keep up the partnership between creator and the creation.
