‘’So, verily with every difficulty, there is relief…Verily, with every difficulty there is relief’’ (94: 5,6]The repetition noticed in (94:6] Verily, with every difficulty there is relief, following what stands ordained in (94:5) So, verily with every difficulty, there is relief is for putting in extra-emphasis on relief. It is meant to reassure that while encountering difficulties in one form or the other, relief will follow as Allah (SwT) in his divine scheme always provides a solution, however knotty the problem might be. Divine scheme devises a way out of trouble, a way which eases the pain encountered in difficult times. Difficult times yield way to happier times, provided adherence to faith is abided by. And, if only we hold true to faith and follow the path shown by Allah (SwT). The path is clearly laid down. It is the straight-way; we pray for:
Show us the straight-way (1:6)
The way of those on whom Thou has bestowed Thy Grace, Those whose (portion) is not wrath. And who do not go astray (1:7)
The path that stands illuminated (in 1:6 & 1:7) could be tread by patience, forbearance and fortitude in situations which might otherwise be difficult to comprehend and face. Were we to tread the straight-way and eschew going astray, ‘HIS Grace’ shall be bestowed whatever the magnitude or the depth of difficulties encountered.
So often it is related, ‘God helps those who help themselves’. The help that is promised holds good for those who hold on to ‘HIS’ path. The promised relief thus comes not merely after the difficulty: it is provided with it, hence the extra-emphasis, as noted in the related verse (94: 5,6)
